Herman Cain’s greatest “hits.”
The Godfather’s Pizza CEO has a knack for catchy slogans - his “999 plan,” going to battle with Mitt Romney in the last debate over “apples and oranges.” Unfortunately, none of those have hit in a campaign ad for the Hermanator.
Yesterday, Cain released this bizarre ad featuring campaign manager Mark Block that left Decoder, well, see for yourself.
We would just leave it at that, but the Twitterverse blew up yesterday with these other gems.
Do yourself a favor and watch this ridiculously hilarious ad for Herman Cain entitled - this is no joke - “He Carried Yellow Flowers,” featuring a cowboy played by Nick Searcy (yeah, we had to Google him too). Even more than Cain’s most recent smash above, “He Carried Yellow Flowers” may be one of the most bizarre campaign advertisements of all time.
Oh, and don’t forget this old favorite: although not technically a campaign ad, Cain’s rendition of “God Bless America” for the 10th anniversary of 9/11 (sung over graphic video of planes hitting the World Trade Center) left us… speechless.
And, what the heck: Imagine there’s no pizza!
